Because Tigris is a wonderful person who agreed to help me with an original idea! Thank you so much! (And, of course, if anybody else would like to give some input…wink wink hint hint.)
Okay, I can do it this way, no worries about the email. Apologies if this is a bit disjointed.
Ooohh, such wonderful ideas! Thank you so much!
Oh yay! I’m glad you like them!
I am insanely enjoying this conversation right now. You’re so good at this!
Okay, Tumblr is being idiotic and deleting my reponses. I think I figured out a way to make it save. Ergh it is being even more stupid. Sorry for the format, it’s the only way I could get it to work.
Again, so sorry about the late reply. Homework took over my life this week.
No need for apologies! Homework tends to do that, particularly at the most inconvenient times.
Wow. Late reply is…actually really, really late. So sorry about that! So much came up.
No worries! Life happens.
Oh dear, that’d be all kinds of emotional. I had assumed that his parents were powerless, which would add into his dad’s angsty-ish factor. I was about to say that it’d be a bit harder to explain Jason’s anger issues, but I can see frustration mounting because his dad never had any problems with his powers like Jason’s having, but Jason’s a lot more powerful, so…maybe?
Aha, so he’d be tried as an adult if anything happened. That might be a bit of a complication. Unless perhaps society is prejudiced enough to always try anoms as adults? Even so, something to think about.
Yay! I leave his homies up to you. :D
Ooooooooh, I look forward to seeing how you handle Jason’s trial. Sorry, Jason…
I was doing that in the latest fic I’m brainstorming…it was not working so hot. I wish you the same sort of flash of inspiration I got.
And here we have the teammates.
Do Val’s teammates ever have a problem with her being unable to prevent skimming their thoughts? Also…are the people on the team only teammates or are their friendships or defined/budding relationships or what?
I’d guess that she probably has susceptibility to water and various kinds of moisture. I don’t want to rip off the X-Men, but I could see her being like Rogue in that she needs a rubber barrier between herself and other people when she touches them. If she has technopathy, which if it is what I’m guessing, then if she’s in a system would she be vulnerable to viruses and someone hacking directly into her brain?
So, for Twitch, despite the fact that he acts like an eleven year old, can he be sort of cold or just seem off since time doesn’t matter to him hardly at all?
Where is the energy for her concussive blasts coming from? You could place a limit on how many she’s able to do in so much time at a certain strength. I’d also say that she’d have to be super conscious of her surroundings and wouldn’t be able to use her powers indoors, especially on upper floors. It doesn’t sound like she has Jason’s durability either, so I’d imagine that her surroundings could turn very deadly for her very fast. Also…her name is Ben?
Oh he I see downsides for. Nothing like being overwhelmed by everything. I’d imagine he’d be very quiet and bland and just muted overall. Ooooo, how about it’s more of a tradeoff? Like, he can enhance his sense of hearing, but all of his other senses dull. The farthest he ever pushed himself was when he started to lose his sense of time and a bit of his sense of self. He couldn’t feel the people shaking him, trying to get him to come back and almost didn’t make it. He could be working on keeping a constant focus on one of his senses, just enough so that it slightly dulls his always enhanced ones, but he’ll sometimes slip, as evidenced by his silent wince. (He also likes to stay in one place when he uses his powers, dulling your senses of sight, distance, balance, and coordination is just asking for disaster)
Okay, I’m pretty proud of my idea for Sam. Hope you like it!
Oh I love bouncing ideas, gets my creative juices flowing, too! Eeeee, so much fun. :D
